Learn how to modify a retention schedule. NOTE: "Edit" controls are only visible to Admins and Editors.
From the main navigation bar at the top, use “Schedule” to manage the Retention Schedule.

Editing a Series
From the main Retention Schedule,
- Scroll to a Series.
- Tap on the Series Name to navigate to the details of that specific Series.
- Use the "Edit Series" button on the top right.
- Modify the fields as needed.
- Use "Save" to confirm changes.
- To cancel changes, refresh the page without saving.
Editing a Type
From the main Retention Schedule OR from the Series' details, Types table:
- Scroll to a Type.
- Tap on the Type Name to navigate to the details of that specific Type.
- Use the "Edit Type" button on the top right.
- Modify the fields as needed.
- Use "Save" to confirm changes.
- To cancel changes, refresh the page without saving.
Editing an Example
From the Type's details,
- Scroll to the "List of Examples" section.
- For a specific Example, use "Update" controls on the right.
- Edit the field.

Submit using the "Update Example" button.
Mapping Requirements
Because Requirements are used globally across all organizations in MosaIQ, you may not edit a Requirements directly. If you believe a Requirement contains errors, please contact support@mosaiqapp.com.
To remove a Requirement, use the action menu for the specific row of Requirement, and select "Remove from Type".
Editing Rules in a Series
From the Series' details,
- Scroll to the "Retention Period" section in the Series profile information.
- Use the "Edit" controls next to a specific Rule.
- Modify the fields as needed.
- Confirm changes by using the "Edit Rule" button.
